The 4th edition of the annual International Electronics Recycling Conference & Expo (IERCE) will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29th till May 31st, 2012.
IERCE will include a roster of the best speakers, informative panel discussions, exhibitors and other stakeholders in the global electronics waste management industry.
Since launching in 2009, more than 2,100 executives representing more than 700 companies have attended the International Electronics Recycling Conference & Expo. The event has also attracted participants from 24 nations.

The autumn edition of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Hong Kong Electronics Fair, which commences today, is expecting participation of more than 3,000 exhibitors from around the world. This would be a record for the event.
Running concurrently with the fair is the electronicAsia exhibition, which will be attracting more than 620 electronics components, solar, and display technology companies.
Some of the newer features at the HKTDC event include the Invention Zone (which will show products that are patent-registered or patent pending) and a room dedicated to mobile devices and accessories.
Additionally, the fair will have a Hall of Fame section where more than 400 “big brands of high quality electronic products” will be showcased. There will also be a bevy of industry-specific seminars.
The show runs from October 13-16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong

]]>Wednesday saw about 100 attendees at pre-conference workshops. Final preparations were underway to prepare the show floor. Early check-in and registration began for the more than 500 attendees and 70 exhibitors.
Early attendees also joined the staff of the Electronic Waste Journal at the publication’s launch party, held at the hotel’s Lodge on the Lawn.
